Postgraduate students from the POI FEB RAS have won the 2026 competitive selection for the Scholarship of the Russian Federation President.
On May 13, 2026, a meeting of the Council on the appointment and payment of Presidential scholarships for full-time postgraduate students conducting research in the context of the Russian Federation's scientific and technological development priorities was held. The results of the 2026 competitive selection, which involved several thousand young researchers from across the country, were announced at the Council meeting. This year, 800 scholarship recipients from 79 regions of the Russian Federation were awarded.
Three graduate students from the POI FEB RAS have won the competitive selection for the Scholarship of the Russian Federation President:
Bekesha Ivan Aleksandrovich, 2nd year, scientific specialty – 1.6.17. Oceanology. Supervisor – Sattarova Valentina Vladimirovna, the head of the
Laboratory for Sedimentary Process Geochemistry, PhD.Anna Vitalievna Domanyuk, 2nd year student, scientific specialty – 1.6.17. Oceanology. Supervisor: Denis Vyacheslavovich Chernykh, Leading Researcher of the Acoustic Oceanography Laboratory, PhD.
Sofia Pavlovna Khudyakova, first-year student, scientific specialty – 1.6.17. Oceanology. Supervisor – Prants Sergey Vladimirovich, Chief Researcher of the Nonlinear Dynamical Systems Laboratory, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, Dr.Sc.
According to the competition regulations, the monthly amount of the scholarship is 75,000 rubles for a period of 1 to 4 years.
