Awards ceremony presentation to the employees of the V.I. Ilychev Pacific Oceanological Institute

On February 10, 2026, a celebratory meeting of the Presidium of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held to mark Russian Science Day. The meeting was attended by Governor of Primorsky Krai O.N. Kozhemyako, the Chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly A.A. Voloshko, the Chairman of the Vladivostok Duma A.P. Brik, and the Minister of Vocational Education and Employment of Primorsky Krai S.V. Dubovitsky, who congratulated the scientists on their professional holiday.

Within the framework of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Presidium meeting a solemn ceremony honoring Primorsky scientists, including staff from the V.I. Ilychev Pacific Oceanological Institute, was held. 

For outstanding scientific achievements, contributing to the development and growth of prestige of Primorsky Krai, O.N. Kozhemyako presented diplomas to the winners of the 2025 Governor of Primorsky Krai Prize:

to the staff of the Laboratory for Integrated Research of Environment and Mineral Resources PhD in biology Anna Leonidovna Ponomareva, PhD in biology Alena Igorevna Yeskova and the head of the laboratory, PhD in geology and mineralogy Nadezhda Sergeevna Syrbu;

Junior research staff of the Laboratory of Nonlinear Hydrophysics and Natural Disasters Mikhail Alekseevich Bolsunovsky and Mikhail Pavlovich Ivanov ("young scientist 1st degree" nomination);

Junior researcher of the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory Mikhail Andreyevich Sorokin ("young scientist 3rd degree" nomination).

For outstanding professional achievements and many years of dedicated work, A.A. Voloshko awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai to the head of the Laboratory for Ocean Research Equipment Development, PhD and associate professor Alexander Anatolyevich Tagiltsev.
