A study by Pacific Oceanological Institute FEB RAS employees has been included in the list of the best scientific papers of 2025 according to the Scientific Council on Acoustics of the Physical Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences

The Scientific Council on Acoustics of the Physical Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences has published a list of the best works for 2025 (https://t.me/acoustica_ran/309).

It included a study by a team of authors from the Acoustic Tomography Laboratory of the POI FEB RAS, titled as «Experimental Validation of a Long-Range Underwater Acoustic Communication Method in the Sea of Japan» (A.A. Golov, V.V. Bezotvetnykh, Yu.N. Morgunov). The study was conducted within the framework of the state budget topic "Development of a Method to Study Complex Acoustic Systems and Environments» (project no. 124022100075-6)..

The article published in the journal "Doklady Earth Sciences" (Springer), is devoted to the development and experimental testing of ultra-long-range hydroacoustic communication technology, enabling data transmission over distances exceeding 1,000 km in the condition of complex acoustic environment of marginal seas of Russia.
